Festival MOT

Each year the MOT festival focuses on a specific theme. This year the theme was the creative process.

Starting from the idea that the creative process is based on the union of several “pieces” in a specific way (memories, knowledge, experiences, references…) and bearing in mind that creation as a concept is something absolutely abstract, the proposal is based on the creation of a series of allegorical images that help talk about this process precisely formed by the union of different elements, that is to say, talk about the creative process using its own method.
Throughout the history of art, the phenomena of nature and the landscape have been a source of allegories to describe what we feel inside. From a series of images of elements of nature we talk about the different dynamics that can be adopted by the creative process (energetic, explosive, liquid, slow, solid…) and we create a series of “portraits” about these hidden processes
