Collect the spontaneous, unfiltered and stripped-down vision of an artist’s life, through the compilation of his drawings related to the texts of a poet
Compilation of ten years of drawings and sketches by the artist Oriol Tuca, accompanied by texts by the poet Carles Morell.
As the name of the book indicates, Immediat is a collection of drawings resulting from the spur of the moment, spontaneous and unfiltered, in the artist’s life. With this idea of representing something naked, we work on the layout with minimal intervention of the material collected in the artist’s notebooks, we relate illustrations to the poet’s texts that are printed on colored paper to separate from the work of the author and we create a piece made up of two volumes bound without covers, with the stitching of the spine stripped and collected in a box where, in each copy, the character that appears is different, selected from more than a thousand drawings that appear in the work and that in a certain way represent the thousand and one characters that the author contains.
