The architecture studio This is Arquitectura wanted to completely renew its identity, including the name, because after 10 years, they felt that it did not represent them, did not communicate their vision of architecture to their potential clients. After analyzing their work and what they wanted to explain, we decided to emphasize the privileged place from where they work to where they carry out most of their projects. Without falling into the use of any localism, we proposed a name that simply put them on the map, Nord Est.
We proposed an absolutely clean identity, trying to transfer the purity they seek in their buildings to the graphic level. The logo consists solely of a typeface that we developed exclusively for them. With the idea of Nord Est, we included in the logo, a distinctive “illustrated” element, which is the maximally simplified s that turns into a needle that marks the Nord Est.
